August & September Release Notes

Over the summer, the Drip team was working on making it easier to personalize your emails with dynamic content, reduce list churn by letting subscribers choose what type of content to receive from you, and improving the accuracy and consistency of email metrics to make the busiest time of year for marketers less stressful. 

Here's what's new.

Let Subscribers Choose Which Single Email Campaigns They Want To Receive

Reduce list churn and increase engagement by letting subscribers choose what content to receive from you.

Enhancements & Bug Fixes

  • Apply and filter by topic on the Workflow list page.
  • Improved consistency and accuracy of reports on email metrics, single email campaigns, and workflow dashboards.
  • Resolved an issue where accounts showed high open rates due to automated bot clicks on unsubscribe links.
  • Updated Stripe Events “Customer subscription created/updated” to include the ‘price_id’ property.
  • Updated trigger and goal filters in Drip custom events to allow the “product_name” key to be deletable.
  • Resolved an issue preventing some combinations of special characters in tags from being deleted.
  • Updated the list of currencies to include the Japanese Yen symbol.
  • Resolved an issue preventing users from saving an updated “from email” in legacy double opt-in forms.
  • Resolved an issue causing flipped content in the mobile view of the email builder to flip in the desktop view.
  • Resolved an issue causing changes to be lost when creating an email from a template.
  • Resolved an issue allowing scheduling options to still be accessible when an email is sending.
  • Resolved an issue causing sections in the email builder with more than two blocks in line to be left-justified.
  • Resolved an issue with Shopify fulfillment events clearing out Shopify tags in Drip.
  • Resolved an issue when saving a segment with an empty “or” filter removing the ability to delete that filter.

  • Soon you'll be able to customize the language and topic order on your subscription management page.
  • More visual email building improvements including global button styles and product block enhancements.
  • Single email campaign dashboard and email metric report improvements, including drill down capabilities in to all numbers, unified language and calculations, and an improved view of campaign segments.
  • We're cleaning up the URLs in click reports so it's easier to understand how people are interacting with emails.
