This month, we have some exciting new customer segments, an update on product data syncs, enhanced data security, and a few feature sunsets to share.
In May, we launched a Best Customer Analysis report to help store-connected users easily identify, segment, and target your best customers. This month, we added three new segments to the report.
We’ve dramatically reduced the amount of time it takes for product data from your store to be reflected in Drip—from 6-8 hours to near real-time (~5 minutes).
Now, when you’re segmenting based on product data from your store, or using the product block in the Visual Email Builder, you can feel confident that the data in Drip will be accurate.
With data breaches and other kinds of fraud on the rise, security is a top priority for us. This month, we added enhanced data encryption in transit and at rest to keep your data secure and maintain your privacy.
After careful consideration, we’ve decided to discontinue our Recommended Products feature.
We are investigating the future of product recommendations in Drip and considering alternatives, but in the meantime, you can use some of our other product-related email elements, like Top Selling Products, Product Content Block or Cart Abandonment.
If you are using recommended products in your scheduled email campaigns or emails connected to workflows:
Magento is a highly customizable and complex system with many different versions. For this reason, as of June 23, we are discontinuing our Magento extension for new customers.
This update doesn’t impact existing Magento integration users. We do, and will continue to, support our current Magento customers to the best of our ability. This means we will continue supporting the Magento versions we do today (Open Source (CE) 2.0, 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 2.4.5).
We won’t commit to supporting any new version or functionality Magento may release in the future that may be incompatible with Drip.
