Release Notes

April & May Release Notes

Written by Laura Gee | June 3, 2024

Over the last few months, we’ve continued to improve the core product by making it easier to build visual emails, enhancing the subscriber subscription experience, and getting the insights you need front and center when you log in.

Here's what's new in Drip.

Email Duplication Across Accounts 🤝🏼

When creating new emails in the visual builder, you can access emails from other accounts within the same subscription.

Products in Grid View 💌

When building an email with a product block, you can arrange them in a grid with as many as 4 products per row.

Subscription Topics for Workflows ℹ️

Organize your workflow content by topic. These topics will be surfaced to your subscribers on the subscription management page, so they can subscribe and unsubscribe from specific topics instead of unsubscribing from all mail.

Workflow Stats on the Account Dashboard 📈

Easily analyze your workflow performance when you log into Drip.

Enhancements

  • Adjust the border-radius in images in the visual email builder.
  • Horizontally and vertically align background images in the visual email builder.
  • Deactivated new parallel path nodes in workflows to prevent confusion (no changes to existing parallel paths).

Bug Fixes

  • Resolved an issue impacting “products viewed” segments for BigCommerce-connected accounts.
  • Improved notifications for auto-saving and network interruptions when using the visual email builder.
  • Improved trigger links to be more closely aligned with human clicks and filter out clicks from bots found in high-security inbox hosting providers.
  • Resolved an issue with the mobile preview in the visual email builder causing it to incorrectly overlap with other elements.
  • Resolved an issue preventing the graph on the revenue analytics page to not load when using the “last month” filter.
  • Updated the billing page so it’s more clear when the data is being calculated.
  • Resolved an issue causing inactive people to be reactivated in Shopify-connected accounts. This was caused by Shopify sending “Item order updated” events to Drip from historical orders even if they contained no new information.
  • Resolved an issue causing the button text in the email builder to not honor the fallback font.

Next Up

  • Retarget people on social media with Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Google Ads integrations.
  • More improvements to the visual email-building experience.
